How I Use ChatGPT in My Blogging Program admin, April 8, 2025April 9, 2025 How I Use ChatGPT in My Blogging Program and save myself time whilst creating a much better product that has a chance at being read Let’s be real—blogging can be both exciting and overwhelming. You know it’s one of the best ways to build trust, grow your brand, and drive traffic… but staring at that blank screen? Yeah, that part’s not fun. I used to spend hours trying to brainstorm topics, research keywords, and then write something that didn’t sound like a high school essay or a robot. It was draining. But now? I’ve got a system. And the secret weapon behind it? ChatGPT. Let me walk you through exactly how I use it inside my blogging workflow—and how it’s helped me create consistent content without the usual stress. Step One: Know Your Niche, Know Your Audience Before I even open up ChatGPT, I start with the most important piece of the puzzle—knowing my niche. Because I understand who I’m talking to, I don’t waste time creating general or watered-down content. I focus tightly on a specific group of people, usually beginner to intermediate affiliate marketers who want to blog smarter and earn faster. This level of clarity makes everything else easier. It helps me know what my readers are struggling with, what they’re searching for, and most importantly—how I can help. Step Two: Ask for 20 Blog Ideas and Keywords Once I’ve got my audience in mind, I open up ChatGPT and ask for 20 blog post topics and keywords related to my niche. It’s important to be specific here. For example, instead of saying “affiliate marketing,” I’ll prompt ChatGPT with:“Give me 20 blog topic ideas with keywords for beginner affiliate marketers using AI tools.” Boom. Within seconds, I get a nice list of blog-worthy topics, all with keyword suggestions baked in. But I don’t stop there. Step Three: Run the Keywords Through a Tool Even though ChatGPT gives me keyword ideas, I always double-check them using a keyword tool like Ubersuggest or Jaaxy Why? Because I want to make sure the keywords are not only relevant, but also rankable. If a keyword is super competitive or has zero traffic, it’s probably not worth targeting. I look for that sweet spot—moderate competition, decent volume, and high intent. Once I find the right one, it’s time to write. Step Four: Blog Time—Start with Pain, End with Power Here’s where ChatGPT really shines. I give it a detailed prompt, asking for a blog post of a certain word count, and I always include instructions like:“Write in a natural, human tone. Start with a pain point. End with a strong call to action. Include my key points: A, B, C…”The Add subheadings and copious transition words to suit SEO The result? A solid first draft that’s often 80–90% ready to publish. Sometimes I’ll tweak it or add a story or personal insight. But the bones are already there—and that’s what saves me hours. Step Five: Meta Description, Images, and Personal Touch After the main post is written, I ask ChatGPT for a short, compelling meta description to tie everything together. Then, I’ll add in a few relevant images—usually ones I’ve created or sourced from a tool like Canva or an AI image generator. I also include a short bio at the end to let readers know who I am and what I stand for. That brings it all together into a clean, professional-looking post that’s ready to publish. Almost. Step Six: The AI Check (and Human Edit If Needed) Before I hit publish, I run the blog through an AI detection tool. Why? Because I want my content to feel like me—not like a machine wrote it. My rule of thumb is to stay under 30% detected AI content. If it comes back too high, no stress. I simply go back in and insert some of my own voice—maybe a personal story, a quirky comment, or a few rewritten paragraphs. That’s usually enough to bring it into the “authentically human” zone. Consistency Without the Burnout Thanks to this system, I can now publish blog posts regularly without feeling overwhelmed. It’s not just about working faster—it’s about working smarter. With ChatGPT as my assistant, I spend more time creating value and less time getting stuck. And because I focus on the right keywords and the right message for my niche, my content actually gets seen. If you’ve been struggling to stay consistent with your blogging—or you’re tired of content that feels like a chore—it might be time to try this approach. Want the Shortcut?
